Located at 728 West Lake Street in Oak Park, Velvet Rope is a place for the mature and sexy; the stylish and sophisticated; and anyone who likes being treated as a VIP. A concept developed by Carol Bertacchi, the Velvet Rope is designed to serve and entertain the large metropolitan gay population. “This is a place for the gay, lesbian, Bisexual, Male, Female, Transgender, and Straight individuals who are open minded, looking for a friendly place where they can always feel welcome” says Bertacchi. “I have selected a very professional staff, most of whom are members of the gay community themselves, whose first priority is to provide our guests a great experience with their partners as well as encourage an atmosphere that is comfortable to meet new people and make new friends.”
